Finding Confidence to Show up as You

Sometimes getting ourselves out there is not easy. With the world constantly telling us who we should be and how we should look like, it’s easy to lose our confidence.

Martin experienced this pressure as well. He shared to the Bootcamp community what happened when he finally showed up as himself:

“Some of you may know that I always struggled getting out there. I was stuck in a spiral of imposter syndrome, perfectionism and procrastination. But I slowly slowly started to let go.

With your help, I realized that people are not there to judge you, but to support you.

Humans are actually quite nice…. if you only let them.

So I said f*ck this sh*t and I started creating content following this simple rules:

  • if it takes more than 30-40m, I’m overthinking and hiding the true Martin.

  • if I don’t feel like posting content, I shouldn’t.

This resulted in:

  • having fun on social media again 🕺🏻

  • I started creating videos 📹

  • I connected with amazing people that actually like the true Martin 🤷🏻

  • Aaaand I sold my first ever 90m clarity call 🚀 because he loved my vibe. (I was like, excuse me whaat?!)

What I learned: F*ck it just do it, there is no right time and there is no finish line. If you are not enjoying it, change it.”

I hope Martin’s story encourages you to embrace your story and confidently share to the world who you are.

Cheers!

Melinda
