Worried you’re not cut out for brand strategy?

Are you worried about not being cut out for strategy? Do you wonder: “Will I be able to help my clients solve their problems?”

You are not alone, Chloe also felt the same way. After doing some sales call practices, she shared her realization to the Bootcamp community chat:

I had a realization today so I thought I’d share it since it’s progress already!

Ever since I was considering this course, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to help my clients in a strategic way.

All the talk about finding golden nuggets and presenting actionable steps really scared me as I wasn’t sure I was cut out for it. I just thought: who am I to tell them this stuff?

I’ve adjusted my enquiry call script based on the sales module and I had 2 calls today with potential clients for website design. As I was on the calls I noticed their reactions to the things I was saying (very good reactions) and I realized that I’VE BEEN DOING IT ALREADY.

I’ve been clarifying what clients say to me, listening to their problems and putting it into actionable steps.

I realized that I’ve even been sifting through what they’re saying, and picking out phrases they use and telling them they should use them in their copy and messaging. (Also one of the potential clients said they were so excited to work with me because they only want to work with ‘the best people’ - to which I did a little happy dance inside)

I feel like a weight has been lifted and I feel validated that I can charge for strategy.

I’ve set up a practice workshop next week with a friend I’ve made through business (so I know I’ll be relaxed with her for my first one!) and I can’t wait to get started.

I’m literally so excited to offer this as a service soon!

Cheers,

Melinda
